Starting out as a portrait artist, Ron Roach was a regular entrant in the Archibald Prize over the early 2000’s before branching out into landscapes and contemporary pieces. Painting in textured oils with acrylic, his works depict a wide range of topics and formats. Bold colour and repeating, interwoven shapes are signature elements in many of his pieces presented here at Fine Art House.
Through Peninsula Equine Art, based on the Mornington Peninsula, Ron also provides quality portraits of much loved horses for owners of all backgrounds.
He currently shares his time working out of three studios – at Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula, the Ron Roach Gallery Studio in Hallston, South Gippsland and Burning Bridge Studios, Bridge Road Richmond.
