Adam Todd is a photographer, born in Melbourne. Through his use of vintage cameras and film emulsion, he has managed to create a catalogue of stunning, characterful images that are at once contemporary and timeless. He says of his work: “I shoot on film, on old cameras because it allows me to capture a look that I can’t achieve through digital. I’m interested in the idea that the moment the shutter is fired, the photograph is a relic of the past. I want my images to look that way - from the past, even if that’s just a few moments ago.”
Adam is a member of the Australian Photographic Collectors Society and in his other life works as a screenwriter in the film and television industry.
